Without doubt easier said than done. However despite consoles being more powerful than ever, that power does not seem to translate into an efficient UI. I can only guess why consoles so powerful are failing at tasks that simplistic predecessors like the Playstation 2 and Gamecube handled flawlessly.
It is easier to track and collect Achievements on the Xbox 360 than it is on the Xbox Series X. This is quite a devolution that a console almost two decades old has a more performant UI than the current generation. Perhaps certain aspects of the UI now rely on an internet connection and stall processes. Whatever the cause, the UI for a console should always be instantaneous. There is no valid excuse.
It should at most take 3 inputs to navigate from within the game to the Trophy list. Ideally allow this function to be bound to a shortcut on the gamepad or a quick-menu. It is cumbersome to collect Trophies when you have to interrupt your playthrough loading a slow UI and trying to find a menu option not in a clear, consistent and logical place.
